Hunger in my Mind – a poem about…

Foolishly craving
riddles and pain
smiles with false make-up
weird sex is to blame
it turns my stomach hard
head down.

Hunger in my mind
Hunger in my mind

Foolishly needing
snippets of sin
you didn’t savour the ride
then it made you sick
what did I do?
Want more.

Hunger in my mind
Hunger in my mind

Finally realising
rocks aren’t swallowed
forming a crooked necklace
of nothing and nothing
accepting its wrong
to dance.

Cleanse me
lose this image
free me from the
Hunger in my mind.
